Since I was a young boy Art has always been a passion it seemed a natural progression when I moved from the paintbrush to the camera and it was a transition that sat easy with me. The camera allowed me to see the world in a completely different way, I found myself looking at everything trying to pick out those quirky compositions or seeking out shafts of light that pleased the eye. I was always adamant that I was not going to use my camera simply to record things but rather use it to put some of me in my images, to use the light and colours and take the mundane and make it striking.
